My mum's thoughts on my all black apparel during 1st year of architecture : "I thought you were mourning for someone"

HELLO and welcome back! yes, the title above is exactly what my mum said to me recently as we were talking about clothes during one of our mother-daughter car trips. HAHA,

The story was that during my 1st year of architecture, I was very much influenced by my studio master. He liked to wear all black and well...I adopted his monotonous fashion style and wore pretty much all black during first year. HAHA! But now that I'm in 3rd year of architecture, I'd say my fashion style still purely revolves around versatile pieces and colours such as black, white & greys but I suppose I'm slowly trying to figure my style out.

But thats not the point of this blog post actually! hahaha unless..you want me to share my fashion...haha,

Tomorrow marks the first day of a new semester and the first day on my final year in architecture school. I actually cant believe this is happening. and I think it is overwhelming. I feel like going back into something that is new to me again and challenging. It is scary..but I know that this part of the learning process and that I must do my best. Don't give a f*ck (because I have under 18 readers here...) about outcomes but focus more on the learning process and accepting every critic with an open heart and open mind. And just do my absolute best.

On another story, my iPhone screen display decided to give up on me today! A day before my new semester! which totally sucks. The phone is ringing and doing what it does...EXCEPT SHOWING THE DISPLAY...so thats just really really sucky. I pretty much cant do anything. and cant be contacted. so...thats just double the fun. hahaha, However, thank God for the internet and dropbox and email and the tablet/ipad. I can at least access all that on my iPad...so it saves me the trouble of carrying my laptop around. Its like sort of going on a social detox but not one that you planned for.

So thats it for tonight's post. Thanks for tuning in! and I'll talk to you real soon!

Xx,

Sarah
